I have always hated making cut out cookies because it was so hard to keep the dough a consistant thickness.
This rolling pin solves that problem and makes cut out cookies fun. After washing the rolling pin first I put vegetable oil on a paper towel and rubbed down the rolling pin and wiped till it was dry and had no problems with the dough sticking to the pin. (I did still use flour as usual) I would recommend this to anyone that is on the fence about it.
I am now looking for reasons to make cut out cookies.

I love this rolling pin and it's made baking cookies that much easier for getting the same thickness. I always struggled before but this has worked like a dream. It's also easy to clean and store since it's quite slim. I had previously used the bands but they did not work very well for me.

and I use this for clay to make slabs for hand building. It gives me several thicknesses to choose from. Nice tool!

I love this rolling pin. I was afraid to make sugar cookies or pie crusts because I cannot judge the height. I made sugar cookies and this worked perfectly and it was sooooo fast. My husband and mom used it and loved it also. I would definitely recommend.
