Recently, nike's crew socks have utilized a tighter fit design that slides down to your ankles too easily. These socks seem to use the old crew fit I used to love! The length is perfect (true mid-calf, not the awkward in between quarter/crew) and these are the first nike socks in years that have stayed up on my leg during intense and lengthy workouts. I don't love all the louder colored pairs but I understand that it's the current trend. Still, these are by far Nike's best athletic crew socks at the moment and I'm willing to spend the $ even though I just use the black & darker colored pairs.

I bought these because they have that nice arch support in them which most men's socks do not. The colors that came included a shocking green-yellow which is the reason for the 4 stars instead od 5 . My husband also does not like the new Nike logo. He wants subtle on his socks. He will wear them under his motorcycle boots so no one sees them. They are comfortable, he says and they go all the way up to his knees so he will be warmer on his cycle rides.

The socks are fine, but the color white crimson should be white and red. Instead, the red looks orange. My boys and I are very disappointed. The red matched the orange on the Nike packaging. If you want red, don't get these!

The sock barely fit my foot and felt more like a compression piece of clothing than a normal sock. Wearing size 14-15 shoes and having numerous sets of socks from other brands, these are clearly made for small children.
