I use them for a meat +1 or a meat +2 lunches. Keeps portion size down. Lids will warp if you put them on when food is extra hot. They wash great by hand or dishwasher.

These are so cute I just bought two for my self and two for a gift! The lids are not a problem like some people are complaining about. The cardboard inside specifically says to remove the lid when heating. That is why maybe some peoples lids do not seal or why the flaps broke of or why it has become weak. Just take good care of your things. Why would you buy a glass container and then heat your food with a plastic lid... is defeats the purpose. Anyways these are nice and light enough to take to work for lunch.

These dishes are very attractive and we definitely prefer storing in glass as opposed to plastic. However, if one is not careful, the lid can lose its spring. We used it in the microwave and then put it in a warm (not hot) oven. The next thing you know, the lid attachments had sprung and would no longer lock. We believe it was because we took it from a hot place to a cooler place where the air inside the dish contracted causing a vacuum which deformed the locking top. We have been able to partially restore it by heating the top in nearly boiling water and clamping it on with rubber band. Pyrex should have tested for this and should warn customers to be careful and not move a hot dish with the clamps down from a hot environment to a colder one. I would recommend it but with reservations -- best to only use the top when storing and not when heating.
