Rated 4 out of 5Â by Biscottiman Practical, used almost daily.
Still have my 20yo set. Pricey (cost 1 star), but World Kitchen just had great sale, so I purchased 4 more white, added 4 in blueberry, 3 in red, and 1 in Sunflower. Very practical, especially for empty nesters. Just realized they have recipes on website for cobblers from scratch and such... can't wait to try out. Can't live without.

I tried storing some soup in this mug, for reheating the next day. The lid was difficult to put on but not impossible. Then the next day I attempted to remove the lid to add some seasoning before microwaving. IMPOSSIBLE - or prit-near! It was quite a chore to remove the lid without spilling the contents. I considered trashing the product at this point; however, I struggled to put the lid back on and heated the soup. Much to my surpise was how easy the lid came off after being heated in the microwave. So, if you put food in the mug then microwave without opening the lid again until it's heated through, it might work.

I use this only for leftover soups/casseroles for bringing to work....it is about one serving max.
Rated 5 out of 5Â by TJones Great mug, soup cup, cereal bowl
I bought this mug to use at my desk at work. I would usually use 3-5 paper cups through the day for water, coffee, smoothies, or cereal. With this mug, I can do all of that and go green! I have not used it in the microwave as yet. However, I use to it eat cereal, drink coffee or tea, and drink my smoothies. The width is excellent to spoon out the little bits of smoothie that remains in the bottom of the cup. The lid is great, too. Overall, I have no complaints. It cleans easily and is easily to hold. I'm pleased w/my purchase. I've only had it for a week, so hopefully this helps.
