Rated 3 out of 5 by beautiful set, but horrible instructions The instructions for assembly are 2 pages with very few words and one picture. Pretty much they are useless, so you're left guessing which direction to place the pieces. Just FYI, small screws go in base of chairs, and long screws are for the chair back. The back should be curving out towards the back, not inward, we think. Anyone know this for sure? We've had the set for almost a week and we're slowly still trying to put this together and have had to start over twice. Even for the most patient, it is taxing to put together. If you can hire someone to do it for you, I'd recommend it! :) Otherwise it's a beautiful set that I know someday I'll be happy with! 06/23/2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Back of seat is very uncomfortable / Design defect I love the looks of this set, the ottoman and table are fine, however, as noted by another purchaser of this product, the back of the chair arches inward toward your back making it impossible to sit comfortably. It appears there is a design defect with the chairs as there is no way to build it without having the back of the chair arch inward. Such a shame! Note: I called the telephone number listed on the instruction booklet, however, the number listed is now an Enterprise Rent A Car #. I now have to lug this thing back to the store for a refund. DO NOT BUY THIS SET!!! 04/14/2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Bad instructions for assembly I had purchased this set for a smaller patio area which works well. The set is very comfortable and sterdy. The only problem was in the assembly, the directions were very hard to understand, it just had pictures with no written instructions. This may sound kind of silly, but the fact of the matter was, it was very frustrating. We have assembled everything from cribs to entertainment centers and this was by far the most difficult with bad instructions and parts that didn't line up correctly. The good news was, calling the company for replacement parts and they were very helpful and on top of sending the new ottoman in a timely fashion. I do love the set and even through the difficult assembly we were happy to have purchased it. 05/08/2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice Set - assembly wasn't too bad I just bought this, and was a bit concerned after reading several reviews regarding assembly. Long story short, I didn't have any issue. The instructions were straightforward enough. Assembly took a bit of time, but nothing out of the ordinary. Put a washer here, put the screw there, tighten it as necessary, and keep going until it's done. Now that I have it assembled and placed on my patio, I realized that the cushions will get dirty. Unfortunately, I don't have cushion covers to facilitate washing. I guess that's a separate issue. 08/05/2013
