We finally found comfortable jeans for my husband that he can work in all day -- but what's with the permanent crease? These are supposed to be jeans! Creases just don't look right (especially these very sharp ones), and they are apparently held in place with some kind of heat-resistant plastic-y stuff (silicone?) that I have been unable to iron out. It makes them look like pants designed for elderly men (actually, even my 78 year old father prefers normal-looking jeans with no crease.) If we could get rid of the crease, we would buy a ton of them. Oh, would love them to come in a lighter denim, too.

This is a good product and well made, however it did not work for us at this time. There has been a change in style on these pants that is also validated by the manufacturer. They have a short rise in them now which does not fit like the classic fit did, but is under the same description. We received these and the usual size would not go beyond the thigh area as the zipper is much shorter and so is the rise. We want the other ones back. This is also the case when visiting a Haggar outlet store. The manufacturer verified to us that a change had been made recently.

This is the 2nd time I have purchased these Haggar jeans from Kohl's (once in store and now on line). I enjoy them as they are so comfortable around the waist especially because of the expanding sections of the waistband on each side. I'm 73 and value comfort over all else and these jeans are nice looking in appearance, perma- press with sharp creases and a long wearing and light feeling material. I've had the first two pair for 3 years now and they still look nearly like new, even though they are machined washed and touched up via iron.
I would recommend these to any man who is most interested in comfort and lightness in his trousers!

Haggar has lost a customer. Have worn their Work-to-Weekend pleated jeans for a very long time. Likely went through 15 pairs or more. Recent order appears to have changed all that. Shorter cut waist makes fit uncomfortable and really unwearable. Zipper is approx. 1 - 1-1/2 inches shorter than previous cut...and this translates into a shorter cut in the crotch. I know most will have to order to confirm the change in styling but maybe this will result in enough complaints that Haggar will go back to the original style.
