Rated 5 out of 5 by Basic, simple, and comfortable I ordered these because the others I wanted was out of stock.....this being said,I am GLAD to have made this purchase because I am ever so pleased with these shoes!!!!!.....basic black and white,so goes with everything.....COMFORT.....I have heel trouble and New Balance is the only athletic type shoe I can wear without pain.....LIGHTWEIGHT.....I haven't tried the 711 series, and I LOVE the lightweight AND STYLE because these do not have a lot of decorations in the stitching or pattern..... 07/22/2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Doesn't last long I take BodyCombat 2-3 times/week and after 4 weeks it felt like the sole was wearing out already. Lack of foot support was hurting my feet, and the sole became slippery on the gym floor. By 6 weeks, they were not wearable for class anymore. Had 2 pairs and they both did the same thing. I would not recommend these if you take high impact studio classes regularly, unless you don't mind buying a new pair each month. They may be fine for walking, and they still look brand new. Very lightweight. 02/24/2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not a real solid sneaker I have plantar problems with my foot. New Balance is a good brand for this problem....but not these shoes. I like the shoes, they are light weight, nice colors, but not super supportive. My podiatrist was not happy with the arch. He also felt that it was too flexible. Now, with that being said, I kept the shoes. I liked them style wise. Dr. added an arch pad to the shoe. They seems a bit narrow, but certainly cute. 02/17/2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good features These shoes are VERY comfortable, but I bought cross-trainers because I like to do aerobic exercises. I saw these recommended in a magazine, so I bought them without trying them on at The sole on the ball of shoe is not very thick and it seems like I can feel the floor more than I should. The heel is very cushiony and feels great. Like I said, the shoe is very comfortable and I enjoy wearing them at the gym, just not for aerobic class. 06/12/2014
