Rated 4 out of 5 by from Makes Good Coffee This is a streamlined percolator with a chrome exterior. The pot is seperate from the heating base which makes it easy to lift and pour. My only complaint is it is difficult to see how much water is added to the pot because there is no see through water level marker. The cup measuring marks are stamped into the inside of the carafe and it's nearly impossible to see the mark and pour in water at the same time; I have to add water and stop to check and pour more water and check, you get the idea.. I wouldn't discourage someone from buying it but I think this is information you need to make a decision if this is the right pot for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes very hot coffee! We had a wonderful electric percolator that started to fall apart. Needing a new percolator, I decided to try this one. It's very good quality and makes HOT coffee! This coffee is hotter than anything you'll have anywhere - so let it cool for a second before you try to drink it. I like that the base allows the pot to swivel. That's convenient. Overall, a good product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My household of four coffee drinkers love this percolator. The coffee tastes great. The coffee stays hot but does not get an "overdone" or "burned" taste because of the separate heating element. The separate heating element also makes it easy to clean. We like the 12 cup capacity.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Design I purchased this online so I was not able to check it out before buying. It works well and looks to be of good quality with a few issues that have been overlooked. These issues make it unusable in my opinion. I plan on returning it as soon as I make a trip into town. The primary fault with this coffee maker is that it allows grounds to spill into the coffee while peculating. The Coffee filter is the culprit. If you know about the mast that goes through the center of the filter you know it should be tight. It is smaller than the opening in the filter and the part that surrounds the mast which should come to the top of the basket only goes about 3/4 of the way up. This allows grounds to find its way into the coffee. Some of you may know that in order to completely eliminate grounds you should get fresh course ground coffee. This is not the problem, you would have to get grounds the size of a grain of rice to keep it from getting in your coffee.
