This sifter works well. I don't think it is actually 3 cups. My biggest issue is cleaning it. It has 2 or 3 layers of screens and metal pieces that rotate to make the sifter work. Some of the particles in the flour get caught between the layers. Once it is wet when washing, it is almost impossible to get out. You need to get as much flour out as possible before wetting. It will gum up if you don't. I still like this sifter.

Easy to clean no matter what you do. I just wipe with soapy water. Nothing has stuck to this bakeware. It is sturdy. I love that I was able to get the pan sizes that I wanted. Now I bake just to use the pans. The price was so reasonable that they basically gave them away. This quality would have been very very expensive anywhere else.
Buy this, you will never stop baking

I know my one start doesn't fit the other ratings, but that's because this 3 cup sifter would probably hold a cup - if filled practically to the brim. I'll be returning it, so I haven't actually tried it, but I did put a 1 cup container into the sifter and it filled it. Other than that, the squeeze mechanism seemed strong and very well made.

While this sifter is excellent in quality and ease of operation, it is small, 3 cups. That's not a very practical size when baking a cake. The handle of the sifter is easy to hold and works so smoothly the sifter would not tire the hand.
