by Antdd04 Junk Silverwear / melts in dishwasher
I purchased this product to replace my current outdated silverwear... thought because it said "Dishwasher safe".. it would be "dishwasher safe". Well -- it's not. After one prewash before use as suggested on the package -- the handles are now melted and twisted and are now unusable.
I have attached a picture of a few samples of forks/spoons after their first washing. You can clearly see what "dishwasher safe" does to this silverwear. How they can claim this Durable and dishwasher safe - I am not sure -- I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
*********WASTE OF MONEY ******** I will make sure to warn my friends not to purchase this item. Especially will warn my Facebook friends to share with their friends.

I purchased this product not on sale--mind you - at the local store. I liked the colors and it did not look cheap, yet, casual. I could touch it, check it each piece out. I also liked its hanging/display rack although I no longer use it. Reason? Almost all pieces are cracked on the plastic color part or the upper part of the flatware is now lose. Clearly, washing them in the dishwasher is NOT SAFE! It's embarrassing to display something cracked-up all over. We use them for casual everyday dining. Do not waste your money or hand wash them, but no guarantee they last any longer. :(

When I received this set of multi colored, FOOD NETWORK cutlery set in the mail, the handles by which they hung from the carrier, were pulled out of the handles and one handle was cracked. I had thought that the metal handles went all the way through the plastic to the end but the metal ends were just pushed into a colored plastic tube. I am sure they would have all come out at some time. This was not the FOOD NETWORK QUALITY that I expect from them. I returned them to the store for a refund. I was rather upset as this was for a gift.
