This brush would be fantastic if it weren't for the fact that it sheds it's black bristles everywhere! No one wants to do their make up and then spend time picking black hairs off of their face, clothes, cleavage and bathroom sink. Overall it's really disappointing and I went and exchanged my brush for another brand. It's a shame, because I think the brush itself works quite well, it's just hard to get past all the black bristles left on your face. Perhaps the company could look at a better way of making the brush to ensure that the bristles don't come out 24/7. I would recommend buying a different brand of brush like I did and save money, time and a lot of hassle.

This brush is fantastic but it takes some practice. I had reverted to my old kabuki brush the first few times because I kept getting too much powder in the bristles. You only need a light swirl and tap because the bristles on this thing are so much denser than a regular makeup brush. I also found that it's better to use light circular motions on my face, because if you use sweeping or side-to-side motions the brush tends to deliver uneven amounts of powder. So I take it, do the dip and tap, and swirl it all over my face, it's hard to explain but it evens my skin tone perfectly this way. It's worth the practice, believe me!

I recived the chisel brush in my starter kit. The bristles are harder then other brushes ive tried but i think thats partly to help lift the powder from its pressed form. Where its good as a face brush for general coverage, I wouldnt recommend it for your eye areas or really sensitive skin. If you need better coverage or concealment using the max coverage brush then use the chisel after to finish up. If the brustles are to hard for your skin ( though it hasnt been an issue for me) try using the powder brushes. Everyone is different, and though pur minerals work on a wide range of people, everyone will still need their own set of tools to use it in the best way for them.
