Rated 3 out of 5 by Nice Features, Light Weight and Quite Replacing a Kenmore Progressive bagged upright. Was looking for something with a 12amp motor and long hose, which I use often. Unfortunately, there isn't much out there with a +10' long hose. Kenmore is the longest. This bagless vacuum is very good in carpet mode but is not very good when you go to the hose. Far less suction than my old Kenmore. Only about 15 lbs which is nice. Retractable cord is also nice feature, however because of it's placement(low) it ends up getting tangled, so you have to hold it up and loose another 3 feet of cord. Cord length is pretty short as it is. Attachments are just OK. Replacement parts are a lot cheaper than Kenmore. Hope this Hoover holds up. The biggest problem with Kenmore was that it was built like a tank, but the attachments were flimsy and broke and expensive to replace. 06/22/2015
Rated 2 out of 5 Glad I bought this at KOHLS So Bought this vacuum last week. First day of vacuuming 3 10x14 rooms the thing just shut down (I believe this was due to overheating as the motor was quite hot and later once it cooled down it started working again) It has pulled up lots of dirt from our carpets so I guess our previous 10 year old vacuum lost its suction. The round disc type filter was completely clogged after 1st use also. The reason Im glad I bought at kohls is due to their return policy (just gotta remember where I put that reciept when the time comes) My previous vacuum never overheated. 06/28/2015

Rated 1 out of 5 by Definitely not the dependable Hoover of the past! Have had this vacuum for 8 months. No problems for the first 5 months, but since then, I have had to replace the belt every month. I know the belt is installed properly, but it invariably sides off the very small and poorly designed track. It then gets shredded, leaving small bits of belt rubber everywhere. I empty the cup every time I vacuum. I also keep the filters clean. Cannot understand why this is happening, but something is definitely wrong. Would never recommend this. The belt replacement cost is getting ridiculous and I don't have the time to keep removing the bottom cover to do this repeated maintenance. Not the Hoover product of the past! 11/15/2014
