Rated 5 out of 5 by Sonicare FlexCare+ Rechargeable Toothbrush My dentist recommended this to me due to having gum disease. I read reviews before purchasing and decided to buy the product even thought the reviews all stated poor battery life. I have been using the toothbrush 2x a day for 1 month. I am very happy with the way my teeth feel after use, it also makes my gums feel better. I was going to wait until my first check up to see if my gums have improved before writing a review but was invited to review product now. I like the features it offers for the amount of time to brush. I like the performance, the battery last for about 2 weeks give or take before having to recharge. I mostly use the gum function which brushes for 3 minutes. I will try to write a review after my dental check up to let you know if it indeed improved my gum health. However, they do feel a little better to me. It was a little costly but to me well worth the investment if it helps my gum health. 05/23/2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by ILIKECLEANTEETH The main issue I have with this product is the poor production quality/battery life. I have had two handles so far and while it does do a great job cleaning teeth (except bottom back, but that might be pretty hard to create a product that fits all mouth sizes) compared to a manual tooth brush the product longevity is not long enough in my opinion. The first one lasted about 2.5 years (battery died) and just fell within warranty because I had registered the product online. The replacement unit lasted about half that time and instead of a dead battery it would just start to randomly fire up at any time of the day without any prompts and would not respond to attempts to turn off (similar to a Sci-Fi movie where machines come to life). I let the battery run itself down to no charge and tried to recharge it hoping that would reset something inside and no luck. It would still turn on and off whenever it felt like it. Philips had no interest in testing the unit, which I thought was very strange because this seems like it should be extremely rare product behavior, but I guess they must already know about this and it's more common than you would think (or maybe they didn't want the mail service to wonder what was vibrating inside). 07/01/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by I love my Sonicare! The sonicare toothbrush makes my dental visits a breeze. I had to replace my previous sonicare toothbrush of eight years. It took me a couple weeks to decide the new model I wanted to purchase. In that short time, I could tell the difference. I will never be without my sonicare! I rated the performance good because I don't like the brush head that came with the unit. I will return to the diamond head brush when it is time to replace it. 06/29/2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by the base on this product has a terrible odor The base of this toothbrush has a terrible odor, Would appreciate another brush that doesn't smell. I had the previous model and that base was good. 07/14/2016
