Rated 5 out of 5 by THE BEST EVER Have already recommended this to my sister same day I purchased mine. I already own a table Dyson Fan. I have been wanting a cordless vac for touch ups after trimming my Pekinese and for the stairs and cob webs that tend to find their way in corners etc. I also own Dyson floor vac, which is also great and powerful, but didn't want to detach and lug it around to do my stairs etc. This light weight cordless is perfect and powerful. Need only a few seconds to do the job. Cleans quick and you are done. Reading the creation of this invention and its history was even a better reason to purchase their products because of it being reliable and dependable. 02/17/2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by The Dyson Truth If you are only going to keep this vacuum on the lower level of your house, if you are not going to use the hose feature, if you throw you attachments away because you don't do that kind of cleaning this might be the vacuum for you unless you need the upright feature to hold-- because it doesn't. But if you have any fantasies of using the hose feature or the attachments or of carrying it to another level of your house, this is not for you. The hose sucks against the user making it awkward and impossible to use in most cases. The accessories don't like being removed and the appliance is heavy and hard to carry. Dyson's folly. 02/21/2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by great vacuum We bought our Dyson online, new nine months ago.WE COULDN'T BE HAPPIER. We wanted one because we found our three yr. old could use it (w/ supervision) and do a great job!! We have used it on short and longer shag carpet and flooring 2-4 times a week ever since. We really, REALLY appreciate everything about it! We don't have a pet but have "hair", long, beautiful daughter's and mom hair. It picks it up...everything, every time!! When we accidentally vacuum small or tiny Legos we can retrieve them when emptying the canister/bin. It's a snap to remove the bin, empty it and snap it back on. The whole machine is a WONDERFUL tool.We can"t praise the innovators enough!!!!! 02/18/2015
Rated 4 out of 5 Great! This is a great vacuum cleaner. We were so impressed with how powerful it is. We were also shocked by how little our old vacuum actually cleaned. I'm less impressed by the moving parts. There are lots of little things that come out of the vacuum and get stuck and don't easily come off the vacuum. Also, the vacuum falls over a lot because it's top heavy. That part isn't so great, but I suppose stability isn't the most important thing in a vacuum. Finally, there are lots of cheap plastic parts, which, if they were to break, would seriously impair the use of the vacuum. If they do break, I'll be upset about spending so much money. 02/13/2015
