by WaMomOfThree LOVE LOVE LOVE This Set <3
I decide to totally redecorate from Uptown Modern to Shabby Sheik and these dishes looked great online. I took a chance and order 12 full sets...yes 12. =) I was lucky enough to get them on sale which helped with the cost. I love the weight of the dishes, they feel like they have some substanace. I purchsed the white color and love how they have the distressed type of look, more of a country feel for me. All of the sets arrived in excellent condition with nothing broken or chipped. The bowls are a great size with three teens in the house they will be excellent for cereal and ice cream. I am VERY happy with this purchase and have purchased many more of the accompanying pieces to match.

by GinKin Was so excited to get these in the mail then sadly disappointed as I opened them up. The blue dishes are not the blue that you see on here. I expected crayon blue and got country blue instead. I see that the color is called Denim but I still would have expected dark denim, not the lighter denim. I ordered both the blue and white. The white ones are pretty but my large platter doesn't set flat on the table like it should and wobbles back and forth. Manufacture defect. The white ones are really an off-white which I expected from the reviews. Found other manufacture defects in some of the plates, like pitting in the paint. I expected higher quality for the price.

I love this product. I was looking for a country cottage style plates that were a little girly but not so much so that my boyfriend wouldn't like them. These are perfect! I have them on display rather than just sitting in the cubbard. I use them every day and they are wonderful. And the bowls are perfect for cereal and soup! I have 4 settings in the blue/green color and 4 in the white/cream color. And I will be purchasing the rest of the collection very soon!

These dishes are so attractive and fit in well with the vintage flair I have going in my home. But I was terribly disappointed to find that on the bottom where there is an unglazed ring (like most pottery type items have) the surface is VERY rough. It is so rough it actually scratches my natural stone countertop!!!! So I can't slide a dish, bowl, or mug across the counter - not very practical when you are dishing up a meal. I have other ceramic dishes, but the unglazed ring on the bottom is still smooth and causes no problems, this is the first time I have run into this.It seems these dishes are all form and no function, very disappointing!!
