Rated 1 out of 5 by Why did they change it!? I used to buy Fiji for years, I know what it looks like, and I went to get my nails done yesterday and I look down and they're pink! Like PINK pink with NO white in it. So I ask if they changed it and the girl there tells me, that they haven't changed it, it's just that Fiji turns whiter after a while, like in a week or so. But still, she saw how sad I was, so she put on a 3rd coat of a whiter shade, and I was extremely pleased with the result: white-ish with a pink hue, just like the old Fiji. So I plan to do this from now on, even though 3 coats and a top coat will probably chip earlier than it should. I don't get why they're saying they haven't changed the formula. Maybe they've changed the ingredients? And they appear pink at first but transform later?? lol I have no idea, but it seriously can't be that so many people in here can not see color right! And there's a lot of us die-hard old Fiji fans, we know it by heart! Anyways, just wanted to say there is a solution, add a white shade coat on top or mix them in the same bottle if you're more diy! 08/18/2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Streaks! I found that this streaks for me. I was very careful to let it dry before putting on the next coat but it still streaks. This is the second Essie opague colour that that I have purchased ... Van d'go did the same thing... I think I'll stick to Essie sheers - I do like them very much. 08/18/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Go-to Color At my local nail salon, I generally gravitate toward the pale pinks. This one caught my eye one day a few months back, and I have loved getting it ever since. 07/06/2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by What color replaced original Fiji? I need help. Fiji used to be the perfect shade for me, wore it for about 10 years. Then a summer or two ago, my bottles were much pinker. So I bought white, heated the bottles in hot water (in tea cups), and mixed them. Okay, I created the original Fiji shade. But I don't want to do that again. What's your pale pink/slightly bluish/opaque shade that matches the original Fiji from a few years ago? (The other reviewer who wrote about this was absolutely correct.) 06/01/2016
