I used the 8 oz setting on our Elite brewer. I've tried this one both with and without cream. Frankly, I was a bit disappointed. This isn't one of those brews (viz., Donut Shop, Black Magic) that almost compel you to have another cup or two right after finishing the first one! It definitely needs more mouth feel, more flavor intensity, more aroma, and a fuller after taste. Maybe it would have more "oomph" at, say, a 6 oz setting. If I had that capability, I would try it. This is not to say that it's a bad brew - it's just not a great one. Still, you owe it to yourself to give it a try - it might just be your cup of tea, ah, er, coffee.

I am not a deep dark rich coffee drinker only because it's always tasted bitter to me. Green Mountain Fair Trade has all the rich taste without the bitterness. My all time favorite.

This Gr.Mnt. CFTS is superb "regular" tasting coffee. I'm confused about a few very poor reviews. The opinions seems to average in extremes-either on one end of the scale or the other. Maybe the issue is the "H20" composition. That effects the taste and in turn, the coffee's flavor. Water and its'treatment does vary widely across the country. So, to the coffee drinker so disappointed in Hollywood, ah FL, -try not only using filtered water, but different types/brands/grades. If that still doesn't work, my husband said instead of letting that whole box go to waste, you could give it to us, because He absolutely LOVES it!

We buy the 80 pod boxes and started having trouble with grounds in the coffee, sometimes more grounds than coffee. I called to complain since I think it caused the pump to fail on our machine. We are now using our daughters. The rep walked me through the cleaning, most of it I knew, and got machine #2 working again. Some of the pods have a puffy top which seem to be the ones that don't work. I have been a loyal Keurig user long before Green Mountain bought them. This was a rare problem in the past. Quality control seems to have taken a coffee break. Otherwise I love the Colombian coffee.
