Levi discontinued the old 515's which had a higher waistband and the normal levi logo. Plus size women do not want to draw attention to their butts, so they do not want pocket with a top button or fancy designs on the back pocket. I had 3 pairs of the the 515's when I discovered that they discontinued the style. I was down to my last pair (after 6 years) so was worried. I have 3 of the levis with the stretch fabric but I don't like the lower waistband. Finally they came back out with the same jean but with a different name.
My only complaint is that they are a bit long for short women.
It is too bad that they can not make plus sized jeans like the do with mean with different inseam lengths. I am 5'2 and could probably use an inseam of 28 or 29.

For the first time in a while I found jeans that fit me in the waist (mostly) as well as my bum. The only problem was that even though I looked at the measures and measured myself, I should've sized down. The jeans, most jeans as a matter of fact, loosen up a bit after wearing them.

I ordered this on line and the fit was perfect right out of the box. They hug in all the right places. I have bigger calves and most jeans, even though they are boot cut, still hug my calves but these do not and I love it. As a matter of fact I am going to order several more pairs.

I ordered these in the Deep Melody color first and absolutely loved the fit. I ordered the same size in this color only to discover that they are a whole size larger and the "defined waist" styling I'd loved isn't the same. I was disappointed to find that Levi's sizing and styling is so inconsistent.
