Usually I use Essie's "Good to Go" top coat, but bought this on before reading the reviews. When I used it, I treated it just like a slow-drying nail polish. After I applied it, I stuck my fingertips in ice water for about 15 min., then gently dried and let air dry another 15 min. After that, it was pretty much good and dry without bubbles. Needless to say, I only use this top coat when I want a really long lasting manicure. It's time consuming, but worth it.

I just started buying Essie products and I love the broad spectrum of colors they offer. I decided to buy some of their clear polish so I bought matte about you (which I haven't tried yet), gel setter (only used once) and No chips ahead. This product I only used on my toes over the color virgin snow and I noticed that it left pink streaks on my toes. I decided to purchase another clear polish and started to read the reviews on a few of them and am disappointed in the reviews about this product. I will only use it from now on as a clear polish but not in conjunction with another Essie polish. Purhaps I will try the all in one next time.

I bought this hoping it would keep my nail polish from chipping, especially since it promises to do that on the package. But it bubbled and did not prevent chipping. At the end of the first day I had small chips on for nails.
I had high hopes, so I tried out again! But my nails still chipped. I'm really disappointed in this product. I will advise my friend not to waste their money.

I have used this several times in the past few weeks, over 3 different brands of nail polish. I have been especially careful the last couple of times to make sure the nail polish is dry before using the top coat. I should mention that I do my nails in the morning (between 8:30 - 10:00). Then, I let my nails 'dry' before doing anything and they are fine all day and evening, evening holding up through workouts and showers. I go to bed around 11:00 - so AT LEAST 10+ hours after doing my nails. And, without fail, EVERY MORNING, I wake up to find at least a couple of nails with serious sheet prints in them.
