Usually I use Essie's "Good to Go" top coat, but bought this on before reading the reviews. When I used it, I treated it just like a slow-drying nail polish. After I applied it, I stuck my fingertips in ice water for about 15 min., then gently dried and let air dry another 15 min. After that, it was pretty much good and dry without bubbles. Needless to say, I only use this top coat when I want a really long lasting manicure. It's time consuming, but worth it.

I not only want my money back I want my time back!!!! I have never in 36 years used a product so awful. My nails stayed tacky forever. It actually kept the Polish from hardening. Tiny bubbles all over, my toes after three hrs were still tacky and ended up smudging. I've used Dollar store top coat that worked better than this. This product doesn't harden. I usually use SecheVite and thought I would give this a try. Who let this product pass the testing phase? I don't get mad usually, I've used so so products. I know quality over cheap, but this product just destroyed my mani/pedi. Do not buy!!!

I needed a new top coat and bought this one without thinking because I think of Essie products as top quality. Unfortunately I have had two bad experiences with this top coat that forced me to redo my nails - both times, my nails were smudged 6 hours after I used the product. I don't know why this doesn't dry but it's been a frustrating experience. Probably going back to OPI.

I ran out of top coat and decided to try something new, because i have quite a bit of essie products. I tried this top coat over all kinds of polish, including essie polish, but it NEVER dries. And by never i mean NEVER. When you tap your nails together it almost feels like they're sticking. The surface smudges no matter how many days you wear it. Since it was absolute garbage, i thought i could use it over polish to make nail stickers. Nope. I waited 3 days for my stickers to dry and they were a gloppy mess and wouldn't peel off the oven paper. Disappointing :/
