I've recently found an unused bottle of this nail oil while digging through old nail polish and decided to give it a try, the smell was off and I couldn't place why. Well, turns out that this nail oil is mostly vegetable oil. That's right ladies and gentleman, the smell I was thinking of was soggy fries. This nail oil can't be more than a year old so I don't understand the off-putting smell. Either way, there was a reason this nail oil was barely used when I found it.

I actually have two bottles of this. I absolutely love it.
I love to use a cuticle remover gel, then use the cuticle pusher, trim any excess, and then use the Apricot Oil from Essie. I don't have as much experience using it when I have nail polish on (I honestly never thought to try it with polish already on).
This stuff smells good, does exactly what it is supposed to, and does NOT make an oily mess all over. I've used other products that just never seem to dry or absorb into the skin. This stuff does not have that problem.

I didn't realize it had alcohol in it, which concerns me since I am trying to hydrate my cuticles. It absorbs fast and smells great. If we can remove that alcohol, it will be perfect.

This cuticle oil really does great for my cuticles and nails. It softens my cuticles well and when I use a peel off base coat, it does well to loosen up the polish so I can remove it. Also makes my nails shine very well. Has a pleasant smell, too.
