Rated 3 out of 5 by from I purchased this coffee maker a year ago ... I purchased this coffee maker a year ago and it has barely made it a year. I cleaned it thoroughly according to the manufacturers recommendation and the hot plate doesn't keep the coffee hot, it beeps long before finished brewing and it shuts off in less than an hour when it is supposed to stay on for 2 hours prior to shutting off. I love the color and the style it adds to my kitchen since I use my coffee maker daily so it has prime real estate on my counter always. The heat caused condensation inside the digital screen so I can't set the machine up the night before and program it to brew automatically.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Gone through 2 in less than 2 years I have purchased this coffee maker twice in the past two years. The first one stopped working after about 10 months. It just stopped working. There was power to the unit but it wouldn't brew. I liked the overall functionality of the maker so I went out an purchased the exact same unit again. Unfortunately, the same thing happened after just over a year. Both models were the same and used daily. My Keurig, which is plugged into the same outlet has had no problems for 3 years and is used about 1-2 times per week for specialty coffees. Not sure what the problem is with the Mr. Coffee model, but I will probably buy a different brand for my daily use coffee maker.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylish and very functional Not only does this make a great cup of coffee, it looks great, too. (I bought the red.) I really like the feature that allows me to choose my brew strength. I like strong coffee, so I always use that setting. The other thing I really love is the top on the pot. For some reason, both of my last 2 coffee makers had pot lids that made the coffee drip all over the counter when I poured. I notice this lid's opening is cut farther back on the pot, and I haven't dripped once since getting it. I also think the price was quite reasonable, and it was rated highly by my Consumer Reports magazine as well. Great purchase.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great features and Great Disappointment Hi, I received the Mr. Coffee® Advanced Brew 12-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker Red/Stainless (JWX36-NP) for Christmas in 2014. For a year I left it in its box since I had another coffee maker, so I started using it last March. I loved it for it worked flawlessly and produced great strong brewed coffee. Last Saturday I loaded it with water and coffee and pushed the button but nothing happened, no brewing, no lights, and not showing the time. It just upped and died after 6 months of usage. From your website I see that others have also had this problem. Is there something you can do?
