Rated 1 out of 5 by Not durable Soles came apart in 3 weeks of light to moderate use. 10/12/2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice to be able to order larger sizes for my son that are in style and reasonably priced. 09/16/2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by well-ventilated cross-trainer Upper material breathes extremely well. Probably not so good for wet grass or rain use as your socks will be soaked in no time. Very happy with the fit after using for a little over one week of indoor workouts. 12/22/2013
Rated 3 out of 5 Good for light to moderate, but a bit unstable With 5-6 workouts per week (1 hr per day) including cardio, weights, and treadmill, my sneakers take a beating. So I’m most concerned about durability of these in the long term. I’ll update my review once I’ve got a good 6 months in these. But for now, after the first 4 weeks, they seem to be breaking in quickly and holding up well. They’re definitely the lightest sneaker I’ve owned. It’s definitely noticeable after an hour session of cross training. They cushion the foot and leg quite well on each landing. Very nice for a few miles on the treadmill. A definite advantage over the other brands I've tried. However, all that comes at a trade off in stability. First, the TR sole is not as stiff or wide as others. Abrupt stops on lateral cardio moves result in some noticeable roll over the outer edge of the TR (especially towards the front of the shoe). Also, exercises involving balancing on one-foot are more difficult as the outside edge of the sole tends to compress making for an uneven surface contact to the floor and lots of wobbling. I haven’t gotten to the point where I’ve actually rolled my ankle, but I have to wonder whether the chances of that increase over time with wear and tear. I will also mention that the toes and front part of my feet are a bit tight in the shoes as they seem more narrow than standard D width. Although I take a D-width, I could really use a 2E for the TR. They are a decent workout shoe for the money, especially for running/jogging and some light to moderate aerobics. But for weights and high impact fitness, the instability issue could be a distraction. 01/17/2014
