I was a bit worried when I saw multiple reviews saying the water only sprayed up a couple of inches. However, that has not been our experience at all! The water sprays up easily 18-24" without even fully opening the spigot. There was more than enough to wet the entire slide. We placed the Slip n Slide relatively close to the house; perhaps that the water did not have far to travel in the hose made a difference? All I know is, we have no complaints whatsoever.

This thing is very thin plastic and the water only arches up about 4 inches compared to the 2-3 feet that the picture on the box shows. You have to stand there and spray with the hose if you want to get the slippery action. My kids ended up stepping on the water tube with the holes in it to make it spring up water. I'm disappointed in it but my kids still play with it.

My kids like the slip and slide. Instead of jumping head first on it we put it on a hill and use it like a water slide because jumping head first hurts their chest. The only problem with the quality is the water doesn't push out when you attach the hose to the slip n slide so I have to stand there and spray. Otherwise it is a blast and seems put together well.

I had the grandchildren all excited about the Slip N Slide, and it split the first time the four year old used it. It felt dry rotted to me. Disappointed!
