I was curious to see what others had to say about this after I too tried this and tried desperately to like it but to no avail. Unfortunately, the 1-star reviews pretty much expressed what I thought. This is as far from gingerbread as one can get. The flavor states it is artificial (chemically derived) which may be why it is so awful. But why it continues to be offered is beyond me. It should be discontinued and/or revised, particularly when one star ratings outweigh 5.

I just happened to see this on the shelves and figured I'd give it a shot. There are a lot of flavored coffees out there that are just plain disgusting, but this isn't one of them. The first thing I noticed brewing this was the incredible aroma. It doesn't have that sometime pungent or putride smell you get with "special" blends. After my first taste, I was hesitant to continue drinking the rest of the mug, but now I can't get enough of it. Its one of those things were you have a preconceived idea of it being "sketchy", but it really is addicting! I found that brewing this at the lowest temperature tasted the best.

I've never been a flavored coffee lover until recently when I tried the Green Mountain Pumpkin Spice K Cups. I decided to try these as well. While an enjoyable cup of coffee, the gingerbread flavor is not as noticable as I expected it to be. Gingerbread is normally a strong easily identified flavor. I didn't find that with this coffee. I'll be trying the Eggnog next since that seems to be a favorite for many! I would recommend this to others if you are looking for a smooth but yet mildly flavored coffee. If you prefer a bolder flavored taste then this may not be the right one for you.

This is my absolute favourite K-Cup flavour, even over Pumpkin Spice and Cinnamon Pastry, both of which I also love. While quite a few companies make a Pumpkin Spice and/or Cinnamon K-Cup these days, I've only ever seen one other company make a Gingerbread (it was a bag/pod for use in an adapter), and it wasn't as good as Green Mountain's. It's hard to find, even when it is in season, and in fact not available at all in Canada that I can find, so when I can order it, I make sure to get a couple of boxes and then allow myself one cup of it per week on Sunday mornings.
