by CentralCalGal Beautiful, but shop wisely!
I agree with the previous reviewer that there can be many inconsistencies in stones and settings that are priced alike, especially when shopping online. The best thing is to go to the store in person and shop carefully. If you check the color, clarity, and settings yourself, you should be able to find a quality pair. I did this and found a beautiful pair of diamond studs at the price shown here. In fact, they have the same color and sparkle as other pairs priced twice as high.
As far as the size of the earrings, the item description does say 1/4 carat TW--total weight for both earrings. My photo shows both studs in the same ear to give some scale as to the size. (They shine much better than in the photo.) I wear mine for the second piercing, but in my opinion, for children, teens, or adults who want to make a subtle statement, these studs are perfect. I've done a lot of shopping around, and the price is very reasonable. But you should take the time to go to the store and choose your earrings in person.
I am very satisfied with mine!

I returned them immediately and bought a 1/3 carot pair. The 1/4 carot way too tiny. Could barely hold them . They did look bigger on line

by CeraKate Really wanted to love these
Let me just start off by saying I have ordered three pairs of these earrings. The first pair was for my Grandmother to give to my Aunt for Christmas. They were very pretty and sparkly. I fell in love with them and wanted a pair for myself. I purchased them online, but chose to do an in store pick up seeing as I was going to my local Kohl's the next day. After we picked them up it was fairly clear to us that the clarity was no where near what the first pair was. Side by side it was very obvious. My pair looked solid white compared to my Aunts. I went back to the store the next day and asked the Jewelry lady if I could see another pair, they didn't have anymore of the 14k Round Cut, but they had a 14k Princess Cut and the 10k RC. The 10k was actually clearer than mine. And the Princess ones were absolutely gorgeous. They were so clear, I honestly think they might have been an SI2-I1 clarity rather than I2-3. I kind of regret not doing an even trade for those, seeing as how beautiful and clear they were, but I'm not a fan of square diamonds. So I returned them. I bought a second pair online, and had them shipped to me instead. They came from the same place my Aunt's did, New York, so I was hoping they would look like hers, or the Princess Cuts I had seen at the store. The clarity on those were pretty much the same as the pair I returned unfortunately. I did this review because I received two different earrings. They were both white gold, same clarity and diamond size, but the casing that holds the diamond were completely different. One was a short casing exactly like pictured above, the other was more of a 'two story' casing. Instead of having one square going around the diamond like above, it had two. So needless to say, these are going back also. If they by some miracle, still have the Princess Cuts, I will probably exchange for them. But if not, these will be returned and I will be looking else where for a pair. I'm not saying do not purchase these, because you might end up with a beautiful pair like my Aunt's or the Princess ones, but keep in mind you might also end up with a milky white mismatched pair like me.
I included a couple of pictures of them, showing the casing, clarity, and in my ear to show the size. When I first started looking for a pair the size always threw me off. But luckily, I have very small ears so these are the perfect size and I wouldn't want anything larger for my second holes.
