Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Looking plus Great Coffee This is a beautiful coffeemaker. We have owned Krups coffeemakers in & since the last century; I'm remembering 4. We make 1 or 2 pots a day, grind specially roasted beans, use Krups filters, and have enjoyed every drop. The old carafes DID that drippy thing; this new one is gooder than good. This maker lives up & surpasses the other 3 makers we've owned. It takes half the time to brew a pot, keeps the coffee hot (the 2 us drink a pot in about an hour), and is beautiful. It sits on the counter all day. Buy it, you;ll like it. 04/02/2016

We have had this one for over two years and just had the carafe crack (user error not the product's fault) and in trying to find a replacement, I suggested we just get a new coffee maker and my husband is adamant that I keep looking for a new carafe as he LOVES the coffee this makes. 02/14/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great coffee maker I have had it longer than six months and have not experienced the situations the other two reviewers did. It makes great coffee and is the best coffee maker I have owned. The only thing I don't like has to with the carafe spout which drips when you pour, but that has nothing to do with the operation of the machine. 03/19/2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Expensive looking but a cheaply made product I purchased a Krups thinking that it would (a) make a great cup of coffee (b) not burn the coffee if it's in the carafe (c) not make a lot of noise (d) use all the water and evenly spread the water across the grounds...to make a full cup(s) of coffee. I was proven wrong on all the above points. The machine (a) doesn't make the amount of coffee for the number of cups of water poured into the unit (b) did burn or overheat the coffee in the carafe (c) was noisy (d) did not evenly spread the hot water across the grounds but focused the water in the center of the grounds leaving the rest of the grounds dry/unusable. Plus, the coating on the heating element peeled off. I contacted Krups support and was told I needed to (a) securely package the unit (b) mail it to Krups and after a couple weeks would be contacted as to whether the unit can be fixed or replaced. Really ?! For this price they should mail a replacement unit immediately and have a shipping label included for the return of the defective unit. No recommending or purchasing a Krups product again. 07/10/2015
