The hooks that hang over the shower wall seem to be unnecessarily wide, much wider than a shower door. I figured that it must be the width of a standard door in case someone wanted to use it outside of the shower, but it was even wider than my bathroom door.
I thought this excess width would make it shift around during use, but with the suction cups and the weight of the shampoo and soap bottles, the rack is actually sturdy and I've never had any problems. I imagine if I ever hung towels on the opposite-side hooks, it may cause a weight imbalance but I haven't tested that.
I also never realized how hard these over the wall caddies are to come by until I needed one. This was the lowest price caddy I found that still looked and felt quality-made. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Since over the door caddies are very hard to find this one was sturdy, had ample space for bottles, and good suction on glass. BUT it will absolutely rust within the year. I also recommended not using it on the shower door that opens/ closes otherwise it may affect suction, or bar of soap falling.

I intentionally searched for shower caddies that were either stainless steel or rust resistant. When I received this one, I realized it's the exact one that I was trying to replace that was completely rusted out. When I say rusted out, I mean it has so much rust that it you can't see metal anymore, just rust. Don't buy!

Although made from nice chrome, the design is awful if you have a shower door that you open and close. The suction cups are not powerful enough to hold the caddy in place and the soap rack tilts in such a way that the soap falls through the rack. It would be okay if you plan to use it on a door you do not open - or just over the top of an enclosed shower. Otherwise it is a piece of junk.
