I ordered these online because I couldn't find any I liked, or that were my size, in the store. The first thing I noticed was a very noticeable discoloration near the buckle. I was willing to overlook it if the fit was good because I'm desperate for a cute pair of brown boots, but they are VERY small! I've tried lots of similar boots on in stores and always needed a size 8. The size 8 in these is way too small. I'm not planning on trying a larger size, however, because the material in the toe area is so stiff and uncomfortable. Back to the search for the perfect brown boots! :(

I rarely write negative reviews, but have to let others know about my awful experience with these boots. For reference, I have the lightest brown - "Natural".
The manmade material that looks like leather retains stains practically out of thin air! The stains look like they have dark wet areas, and come from barely touching things. The first time I wore these, I came home and found a 6" area on my outer calf covered in this mess, as well as a smaller section on the inner part of the opposite boot.
I tested a small area with water, and that dried without staining, so I concluded it could be grease, although I have no idea how it happened. I rubbed in baby powder, left them overnight, brushed off the powder, and the stains were gone with just a faint bit left. I put them in the closet to try them again.
The next time I pulled them out to try wearing them again, there were new stains, this time on the toe of one, and on the ankle of the other! They were just sitting on the shelf, I have no idea how this could have happened! It is ridiculous.
These boots were too expensive to have such cheap quality material that stains like this. How can I possibly continue to wear them and not retain embarrassing stains just by walking around?
