Rated 1 out of 5 by The quality has really went down Bought this is 2010, had an additional shelf between 1 side. They did away with that. It lasted years, until a tree crushed it. Rebought this as a replacement. Dont expect it to last more than one season. Pieces are cheaper, not well made. Screws do not go in easily. Top is cheaper and does not have the zippers that made it easy to install. You may rip the top trying to make it fil. They reduced the quality yet increased the price. Go figure! Look elsewhere. 07/02/2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Got a Great Sale Price but alomost not worth it Purchased this gazebo through Kohl's to replace one that we lost in the hurricane from another company. Well, the coating on the screws would not allow the screws to be screwed into the pre-drilled holes so I had to use an 8mm thread chaser on each screw! This was not mentioned in any of the directions. Then other screws stripped trying to get them into the nut ribs! There were a few extra screws in the bag though. Then the directions show the rod for netting facing outside, which we followed those directions but the picture shows it inside. Now its difficult to hang the netting! All in all I would not recommend this canopy to anyone as it took hours to assemble. Oh forgot to mention the sloppily repaired half dollar sized hole in one of the legs too. Make sure you have extra people to help and ladders. 06/09/2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Not worth the price I bought this two years ago and need to replace the canopy. I wouldn't mind spending the extra to replace it but they are not available. For the price I paid it should last more than two years or at least have a replacement canopy available. I could have bought three different brands by now and still not have spent as much. The old saying "you get what you pay for" doesn't ring true in this case. 06/26/2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Surprising good. This gazebo is every bit as good as another one we have that was twice as much money. Two people assembled it easily and the best part of all is the canvas top is actually large enough! Unlike the last 3 canopies we've bought, it wasn't necessary to overstretch it to get it on. We've actually ripped a new top before, trying to make it fit, so this was great. The top rails have rods from which you could hang side curtains (not included). We always hang roll-up-type bamboo shades from the rail on the west side of the canopy so we can block the late afternoon/evening sun, when necessary. On our old wooden deck, we used to screw the 'feet' of the canopy right into the floor, but our new decking material is a bamboo composite so we will not be screwing the legs down. We used bungee cords (the kind with plastic hooks) to attach three of the legs to the deck railing and attached the top of the 4th post to a hook screwed into the eaves of the house. [The canopy we have on our concrete patio is tied to trees, bushes and one post is tied to the house at the top.] We have a LOT of experience with canopies so, trust me, don't even THINK about not screwing or tying it down! It's only been up for two days so we'll see how it survives the Seattle rain, the occasional awesome wind storms we get, and the summer sun (yes...we get sun in Seattle...usually after July 4th!). 04/01/2013
