Rated 1 out of 5 by High Hopes - Big Disappointment I bought this juicer about 5 years ago through recommendations from John Koehler of Discount Juicers. Not long after owning it, the fine screen cracked. I called Omega, told them about the problem. They requested that I send photos so they could send me the right part. They send me the part, only it's the wrong one. Instead of being white plastic, it was gold plastic. In the interim,I never bothered trying to get the right part. I used the coarse screen. Meanwhile, I have found that the juicer produces an extremely large amount of pulp n the juice, forcing me to use nut and seed bag to filter it out. I finally got disgusted and bought a different brand juicer. Last year, I gave the juicer to my newly married daughter. About a month or two ago, they tried ordering the fine screen fo the juicer. It almost looked like the original, but it still wasn't quite the original part. I don't know why Omega seems to have so many problems getting the right parts. What good is a long warranty when you have quality control problem and can't get the right part. Believe me, I wanted this juicer to be good. Nothing but a heartache. Rated 3 out of 5 by Doesn't handle green leafy veggies very well I'm disappointed. I thought I had done my research, and it seemed like this one would do the trick, but the green leafy veggies (especially swiss chard) really gum up the works. The strings bind up in the fiber chute and then too much pulp and foam build up in the bowl. It handled pomegranates much better, but still left far too much bitter pulp in with the juice. I'm going to return it and try the more horizontal auger "screw" type and see if that works any better. 10/13/2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Much better juice than my old centrifugal juicer I had Jack Lalanne's juicer and enjoyed it until I realized how much my juices lost a lot of their enzymes and nutrients due to the high speeds my juices were exposed to. Not only that, it didn't get much juice out of leafy greens like kale and collard greens. My Omega VRT330 might be slower but it produces a better quality juice and gets more out of kale and collard greens, which at the end saves me money. Cleaning is pretty simple and straight forward. One of the features I enjoy the most is that it is upright and pretty much self-feeds itself without hardly having to use the pusher. The 10-year warranty is a huge plus as well. 03/11/2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Worked fine, but lasted less than one year!!! I bought this juicer less than six months ago. It worked well, with the exception of the times it stops, but reversing the motor and letting it sit for a minute seemed to do the trick. I hadn't used it for a few weeks, and tried to start it last night and it is completely dead. 10/20/2014
