I bought two of these and was so excited to start potty training my LO. However, I have discovered that the sensors don't work on both of them. I have tried replacing the battery and shifting the seat so it "sits just right" before I finally gave up with the music. It's great if you want to reach under the seat and press the button every time your child uses the potty. However, I mainly bought it for the functionality of it being used a potty and step stool. The music was supposed to be an added bonus. Oh well, live and learn I suppose. Outside of that it seems comfortable to sit on since she doesn't fuss or fidget. And it's easy for her to put the lid down and step up to wash her hands.

I researched potty's for weeks wanting to make sure we got the right one that our daughter would love and potty training would be fun. I finally found this one that not only turned into a stool just by closing the lid, but was very easy to empty into the toilet, the selling point for me was that it sang once your LO went to the potty. Well this potty has NOT sang once! My husband replaced the batteries and worked on this potty for almost an hour, but the sensors just don't line up correctly unless there is a lot of weight on the potty and my daughter is almost 30lbs so you would think that is enough weight. While the potty looks nice, I really wanted it to sing so that my daughter would get excited each time she went to the potty......this product is very disappointing but still works as a potty otherwise.

This potty is functional, however my son quickly figured out how to play the music without going to the potty. Also, the deflector for boys is a distraction to him as he is usually playing with it and then pees on the floor. Also, the size of the potty seems a bit small for him, he has to be positioned just right to avoid making a mess. Lastly, there are lots of nooks that are difficult to clean. I have basically just submerged it in the tub after a bath and used a scrub brush to clean the crevases. I think next time I would stick to a more basic potty and for boys choose a seat with an intergrated splash guard.

Purchased this for my 2 year old. She caught on right away. She loved tat when she went it make to songs and was cheering for her.
Loved it how its convienent and can double as a step stool to brush her teeth and wash her hands.
My only problem with it is that it randomly goes off by itself and won't stop until I go and mess with it. And there are times where I'm busy and can't go and put it together right and turn on the sound so she can hear and be encouraged. So I loved it or do love it until it started going off with the sound in the weird times like now.
