Rated 5 out of 5Â by Allesandra Keeps you nice and warm while sitting anywhere!
Have purchased quite a few of these and I love them. I recently broke my shoulder & have had to spend five weeks so far on the sofa night & day. This throw has been wonderful as I get chilled easily & especially at night! Our air conditioning is still on so I am at least comfortable while I try to mend! I'll be using it this winter on our bed as my hubby gets warm & I get cold - so it will stay on my side of the bed! Found our cats love it too right along with me!

It does what it's supposed to. But the construction makes me doubt it's longevity. The front of the throw is loosely connected to the back of the throw, and the wires are loose inside that. It's not like an electric blanket where it's all "welded" together. If you grab this and don't get both layers and the wires, the front sort of pulls away from the back. And I imagine that stresses the wires. If you're the only one using it, no big deal. But if you have anyone else in the family who might just grab it to move it to their spot, well, I see an opportunity for damage.
As for warmth, it's lovely to throw over my lap while I watch a movie.

This is my first electric throw and I just Love It. Its big (and ima big girl) and soooo soft and the heating settings are true to form. I bought it for work where im usually freezing and its better than wearing layers of clothes (which are soo hard to work in). Everyone at work loves it and I even catch them sitting at my desk enjoying it, if I happen to have on "layers" and im still chilly I just sit on it set on low and im good for the day :)

The throw works. I use it every time I sit down to watch TV. The connection plug on the throw is in the center at the bottom. It is larger than plugs I have seen on other throws. This is slightly uncomfortable as it is always resting on my feet. If I turn it upside down, the wires get in the way.
The heat doesn't seem to be consistent. Sometimes high heat doesn't feel very warm. Other times, I need to turn it down because high gets too hot.
