Rated 2 out of 5 by Think I got a lemon I received the Biddeford throw as a gift 2 years ago and loved it until last week when it quit working. After reading reviews for this one I decided to buy it instead. Loved the feel of the throw but it did not heat up. I put it on high setting and it barely warmed up, thought maybe the temps got switched so put it on low. Needless to say it did not make a difference, With it being a Sunbeam product I figured I may have gotten a lemon. I returned to Kohl's store today and will give it another try by reordering. Will update review after I receive the new one. 02/09/2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by blanket not made well I bought three different electric blankets from Kohl's. This was one of them. I did not like this one. It was very thin looking. I was afraid that it would not take me long to make a hole in it when I tossed and turned. I also didn't like how the controller attached to the blanket. It was not very secure and easily pulled off. The controller wasn't the easiest to use. I have already returned it to Kohl's. 01/29/2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Slumber Rest Fleece Electric Throw I purchased this throw as a Christmas gift for my father. He enjoys the warmth very much. In my opinion, I wish the construction of this throw was a little less bulky (especially where the plug is located) and the fabric was a true fleece. The actual material is not a true fleece or microfleece, but rather a "felt-like" material. Have not washed the throw as of yet, but hope it washes nicely. Overall, decent throw for the money! 12/31/2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Everything was of very good quality Everything about the blanket was very nice, except, one thing, we had intended to use it on a small cot. All started out great, nice and warm, After a bit, I woke up and was cold, then checking the controls found it had shut itself off, I turned it back on and again, it warmed up nicely, going back to sleep I awoke again, cold, Blanket was again, off. At first I thought there was something wrong, until in the morning, I got out the box/instructions and read about the "safety" feature of automatic shut off. For my use, it utterly defeated the purpose that I bought it for. "To have a constant warm blanket through the cooler portions of the night." I think that the manufacturer should have a selector for automatic shut off or manual so it would stay on, until you wanted it off. Currently it is back in the box, and up on a shelf. Perhaps if I have a friend that is bed ridden or wheel chair bound, where it would only act as a "day cover" I can give it to them. 01/26/2016
