I bought this product for my nephew JJ for christmas. We were both excited to use it. The first thing I noticed was the good awful stench. It was so bad I had to keep telling him to not bring the picture near me or the baby. Then I thought I had given him the paper upside down since all I saw was rainbows. Then he got it all over the table. All in all I was very disapointed. Especially since I have never had any problems with Crayola before.

First of all, this is not cheap! I opened it to find it had such a bad smell. I inspected the package to see what ingredients I was having my grand daughter paint with. There was nothing listed on the package, so I have no idea what is in it without further research. Needless to say, it did not pass her test either as she was not impressed with the pattern on the paper, or the fact that it wouldn't come off her hands. I do wish I had read other comments prior to opening the package. I would have returned it. The color is not instant and the pattern on all the sheets is the same. I would not recommend this product. We will stick to crayons, markers and regular finger paint. At least I will know where the products that doesn't reach the project is so I can clean it up and the color is instant, being a more creative option.

This is just smearing goo on a page to reveal one boring pattern (maybe if the patterns varied, it would be better?). No imagination is required. It also stinks, but is somehow appealing enough to a toddler to make him want to eat it (gross). It's still a goopy mess to clean up, and the smell lingers. The teacher with the handprint idea probably found the only decent use for it. We abandoned it for crayons and stickers.

Two year old grandson wanted finger paints and I was really dreading the mess. This is so much easier to use and clean up than the traditional paints that I remembered. The paper creates the picture and he was so proud when the pattern appeared. Easy clean up with soap and water. The only thing I noticed was the "paint" has an odor.
