Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Swiss Miss I grew up with If you grew up with the real hot chocolate that granny used to cook on the stove, real cocoa, real full fat milk, real white sugar, etc, you might not like the flavor of this product. I grew up with this product, so this is the flavor I remember. I drink it, too, because it's a treat for me while watching my calories. Tip: I use only 6 to 8 oz max of water, anymore and it will taste watery. Tip: just like I did with the packets years ago, when I opened them, I shook or tapped the packet to get all of the product out,, so too, just before I place the cup into the machine, I gently tap or shake it to break up the powder, really no brainier.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from SO good! These are so good! They taste amazing. I bought them from a store when the packs were on sale for [$] because the retailer considered it to be "seasonal." However, when I went to the Keurig site to purchase more, I was shocked to see the outrageous price on regular swiss miss hot chocolate! I can buy a whole box of packets and make them the old fashion way for $2. I can't imagine spending almost $20 just for the convenience of a kcup for something that isn't typically drank daily. Therefore, I don't mind making my swiss miss hot chocolate the more time consuming yet much more affodable old fashioned way.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Shake the k-cup My Husband is on a hot chocolate kick to replace some of his coffee at home. Before putting in my next order I decided to read some of the reviews and drink some of it myself. Some people said all of it didn't come out of the k-cup. You need to shake them first. All of my mix was used. I opened the cup after brewing to check. I like hot chocolate but don't drink it often because of the calories. For an occasional indulgence at only 60 calories this tasted good. I added a tablespoon of sugar free creamer, so mine ended up at 75 calories but actually it wasn't necessary. This k-cup had plenty of chocolate flavor and with no mess and instant gratification.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tastes like artificial sweetener I didn't read the ingredients list before using one of these cups - big mistake. When I took the very first sip I could immediately tell there was artificial sweetener in it. I looked at the box and sure enough, it contains sucralose (aka Splenda). I know that some people don't mind them, but I've never been able to stand the taste of artificial sweeteners, they have a gross chemical taste to me. I'm disappointed to see that all the other brands of hot chocolate k-cups also contain sucralose, since the variety of beverages available was one of the reasons I wanted a Keurig. Looks like I'll be going back to packets for hot chocolate.
