Rated 1 out of 5Â by Maryec My mixer just died and I would not buy this again.
This mixer was very poorly designed. There is a vent on the bottom front of the mixer which causes the flour in the mixture to fly up in a large cloud getting everywhere. This mixer simply cannot be used at all without a large kitchen towel draped over the bowl and mixer. After only a year the switch began to work intermitantly (not turn on until you had flipped it a few times and not work except on certain settings resulting in no variable speeds). I am convinced this is due to flour contamination because of the poor design. It will no longer turn on at all now after only 5 years 0f very occasional use. The last mixer I had lasted about 40 years or more. I am very dissapointed.

This item is by far the best Hamilton mixer I have purchased. I appreciate the attachment compartment to store the attachments and the cord slides right into the compartment as well. The storage compartment has holes for what appears to be for mounting to the wall, but no hardware for mounting. But love this nice mixer, boyfriend loves to bake and stripped the gears on the last mixer we had, on his peanut butter icing for his chocolate cake.

I received this blender and the case was broken. Kohl's wants ME to pay for return shipping. They will refund in 2-4 weeks. Why would I want to pay "more" for a product that they sent damaged? No more Kohl's online for me.

I've had this mixer for about 3 years. I love the power, & storage container. Cookie dough did seem to fly out of the bowl quite a bit, but not as bad with cake batter. A little plastic piece broke where it holds the beaters, so now it won't hold the second beater in. I only use the thing 3 to 4 times a year, so this was very disappointing. Using it so infrequently, i don't want to spend much, so I'm going to give it one more try. Here's hoping...
