Rated 2 out of 5 by Needs a popcorn trail to find it's way home Was very excited to try the Neato after all of the great reviews, but am disappointed with the results. The power of the vacuum is actually very good, and even sucks dog hair out from around table legs and such - that was a pleasant surprise. The vacuum's fatal flaw is that it constantly loses its bearings in larger rooms, where you'll find it vacuuming areas over and over again until it gets low on charge. At that point the vacuum does try to make its way back to its dock, but never once was able to find it. Instead, it eventually runs out of power and shuts down in random locations. Scheduling is worthless because you need to be around to pick it up and bring it back to the charging dock. Really wanted this vacuum to work, but it falls far short. It may work better on smaller, less complicated rooms, but in large rooms it is worthless. 01/14/2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Love It I can not believe that my Neato does the job that it does. Checks out where it needs to go and then goes to work. It even stoped direction when my dog stepped in front of it. Did my dinning room and then living room. Went into the computer room and front bedroom. went back through the livingroom and then into thr master bedroom. I am amazed with it. It only lost its way once when it was going home to recharge. and it was only 1 1/2 feet from the base. 03/18/2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not what you hope for Does well on carpets and navigates fairly well. Although it always had problems going back to the docking station. This was the "Pet" model but it did a poor job of vacuuming up cat liter. Constantly said "brushes needed cleaning" when nothing was in the brushes. A lot of money for a vacuum that has difficulty getting around furniture. Oh, you also need 4.5 inches of clearance to go under chairs and couches, not 4 inches. I returned it. 12/12/2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Could be a bit smarter We have to pull the dining room chairs up onto the tabletop the night before the vacuum is set to go off. It gets hung up in between the chair legs for some reason. I feel like I'm living in a restaurant/bar! Somewhat inconvenient but nice to come home a freshly vacuumed house the one time the whole process came together. Still weighing the pros and cons over all. We have only used this three times so far. 04/04/2013
