Needs Sharpening often and one steak knife snapped after 2 months. I like the look but not worth the money.

I have had these knives for almost 6 months and I absolutely love them. I am not sure how the one user broke the handle because the blades and handles are one part, which is why I purchased this particular set...maybe they bought one of the other sets. The knives are sharp and are easy to sharpen, they feel good in my hand and slice through anything! The only complaint I have is that I keep cutting my fingers...I am so used to using dull knives that I guess I have become a little careless when using knives and kept nicking my fingers. So far no serious injuries and I am learning to be more careful :)

I purchased the Chicago Cutlery Fullerton 16-pc Block Set a few months ago and I have to say I am extremely disappointed. They have done nothing but rust and keep becoming dual. I take very well care of my knives and there is nothing more I can do to help these to be better. If I still had my receipt I would return them. I honestly wish I would have looked at the reviews and seen it only has 3 1/2 stars before I purchased these.

Bought this after deciding I wanted a NICE set of knives. Wish I saw these reviews before I purchased. They look very nice and are sharp but the quality isn't there. I have had these knives for approx 10 months. Steak knives are used by my family probably twice/week on average. Today, as I was slicing into ice cream cake (softened) the knife broke right in half, almost cutting my finger. Thought these would be durable since I spent a little more than normal on them. Guess I should've spent a little more than I did.
