I have had these knives for almost 6 months and I absolutely love them. I am not sure how the one user broke the handle because the blades and handles are one part, which is why I purchased this particular set...maybe they bought one of the other sets. The knives are sharp and are easy to sharpen, they feel good in my hand and slice through anything! The only complaint I have is that I keep cutting my fingers...I am so used to using dull knives that I guess I have become a little careless when using knives and kept nicking my fingers. So far no serious injuries and I am learning to be more careful :)

I purchased the Chicago Cutlery Fullerton 16-pc Block Set a few months ago and I have to say I am extremely disappointed. They have done nothing but rust and keep becoming dual. I take very well care of my knives and there is nothing more I can do to help these to be better. If I still had my receipt I would return them. I honestly wish I would have looked at the reviews and seen it only has 3 1/2 stars before I purchased these.

Use this product on almost a daily basis, but the steak knives break so easily. I received this set from my mother-in-law for Christmas and I am down to 3 steak knives due them breaking when using. I have cut my fingers several times due this. The rest of the knives seem to be of good quality and sharpen easily when needed. But just the fact the steak knives break so easily I would not recommend this product.

We bought this set after we got married. I went to the store and compared the knives in person and read a million different reviews about different sets. We aren't professional chefs by any stretch of the imagination, but both really enjoy spending time in the kitchen so we decided to put a little more money into a cutlery set. We've been using the set for a little over 2 years and the only problems we have had are 1. My husband tried to pry apart frozen meat with the butchers knife and broke the tip off, and 2. They mysteriously keep going missing from my kitchen. They have never rust, and are just as sharp today as the day we bought them, and I have never sharpened them. Not once. They aren't discolored or dull, or rusting. We have followed the care instructions religiously. Basically, don't submerge them in water, and we hand wash them instead of using the dishwasher. It is a pristine knife set and we couldn't be happier. I am actually on here to replace my missing knives lol
