I am 53, my son is 29 and my niece is 25. I bought three of these for a Christmas gift for us this year and we all LOVED them! My niece takes her firefly with her when she spends the night with other family and friends and they all want one too!! Every night I go to sleep with this gem on. My entire bedroom is lit up with stars and moons that change color from white to blue to a purpley red color and its on a 1 hour timer to save on batteries. I will be watching to see if they come back in stock and buy some more for my other nieces and nephews! Great gift!!!

We saw this at Kohls Black Friday, and my 4 year old son begged me for it. I gave in since it was such a deal, and am so glad i did, because he just loves it and finds it fascinating. The stars light up his room so well, and he loves the color change. It shuts itself off after 1 hour, which is nice so batteries are not wasted if they fall asleep. It's soft and cute. He's taken it to both grandparents houses to show it off, and everyone thinks its really neat. Great product! ONLY problem is, his 2 year old sister loves it too, so now I'll have to get her one. :)

This was purchased for our grandson as a gift and he received many gifts and out of all the gifts this was his favorite. He took it to bed with him every night and enjoyed watching the lights until he fell asleep. Now, the light has gone out of this cute and favorite bedtime toy of his. I have been searching for a way to get the light replaced and I am only finding that we need to just replace the item. He is very upset at bedtime because he nolonger has the lights on as he calles it his bestfriend. Sadly, we will not replace with the same product. We will go with another company's product in hopes it last longer. Very disappointed with this product and I will rethink on purchasing any more Discovery Kids products in the future.

I guess this is one of those things where you get lucky for something that is chip, or get a junk. The design and idea are good, but the thing does not work as described. We could not make it work, after inserting the batteries and pushing the buttons. Than, suddenly, it started working and we could not to turn it off. Eventually it was on all night until, the batteries died. Is there any magic word you have to say in order for the light to operate properly?
