I used this griddle on my new glass cooktop on medium heat while making pancakes. They were fine but I let it cool completely and then tried to remove it from the double burner. It was fused! With some very careful prying I was able to remove it eventually but it left a burnt-on residue in the middle that could only be removed by scraping with a razor blade. The griddle bottom is all scarred and I am returnng it immediatley.

This griddle fits well on our stove and cooks beautifully. We have used it 3 times for pancakes and each time they turned out well. No trouble with warping, but we have kept the heat between low and medium.

Made French toast on our brand new glass cooktop and the coating on the pan fused to the cooktop. We read and followed all cooktop and pan usage instructions before making the French toast. We had to scrape the burner with a razor to remove the fused-on pan coating, and then clean and polish the cooktop to remove the fumes from the pan's coating that had also fused to the cooktop. Returned the pan.

I read the reviews and saw some comments about cooktops. Some were from 2011 so I assumed things have improved. Griddle worked well to make pancakes but much to my despair when I went to clean up the paint on bottom of pan melted to my cooktop in 3 spots. Came off with cooktop cleaner in 2 spots but the middle spot still visibly seen on burner. I am researching return options on the griddle
