Overall, there is nothing wrong with the slippers, per se. They are more for the show of the cute sock monkey than actual warmness, so beware of that. Also, since they are just knitted, they are not going to last very long wearing them all time, and hence, there is no traction on the bottom. Lastly, beware of the sizes. The title claims these are for youth. I bought a Large pair for my 17 year old daughter, who wears an 8-9 woman's shoe, and they were waaaay too big for her, so they are not exactly for "youth" and they do run rather large.

When I saw these slippers I thought they were adorable. I ordered them right away. The reviews said that the slippers ran large, but I ordered my true size and they fit when I received them. The one thing that upset me, was when I opened the package, the sock monkey's face on one of the slippers was totally lopsided. I also tried them on to find that both slippers were for the left foot. I haven't returned them yet as I am waiting for the Christmas rush to die down. I don't want another pair, as I was so disappointed.

Ok... so I have purchased quite a few different styles of muk luk slippers and I have to say... I've been very disappointed in their quality for their over the top prices. This last pair of monkey slippers I bought for my teenage granddaughter. The size chart on kohl.com suggested a large for her shoe size which is around a 8-8 1/2 depending on who makes the shoe, but regardless, I ordered a large. When they arrived I was astonished at the size 11 1/2 to 12 which is not even on the size charge. And no, that was not the men's size, which read 10 1/2 to 11. They were big enough for a sasquach! It actually was pretty hysterical... because they were even too big for my husband. I re-ordered a small, which does not make sense according to the size chart, but they actually look like they will fit her.
