I looked and looked and read all kinds of reviews before settling on an inexpensive juicer that had good reviews. The reviews on this were pretty good so I ordered it. It died before I finished my first juicing. I read the manual and it said it could have gotten over heated and to let it rest for 15 mins unplugged. The next day it still wasn't working and I took it right back to the store. I then got a hand me down juicer from my GREAT Grandma that she's had since I was little. The thing works like a charm!!! They just don't make quality things anymore! Don't buy this!

I've wanted to start juicing for a while now and did some research on which juicer to buy. The Hamilton Beach Big Mouth Juicer is just what I've been looking for. I like that it has a wide mouth which enables me to put in a whole apple instead of cutting it up into pieces. I didn't realize just how much pulp is generated from vegetables and fruits. But... its easy to clean up, as long as you do it immediately. I like the fact that it comes with a brush which works extremely well in getting rid of the pulp attached to the fine sifter.

I would never replace this juicer with any other. It's easy to assemble and disassemble . Cleaning is very easy

I am new to juicing so I was looking for an affordable appliance. After reading the other reviews of the Hamilton Beach, I decided it might be good for me. I am not disappointed at all. It grinds everything I put in it and the pulp that is left is very dry. If you don't clean the basket right away, it is a bit difficult to clean but that's a problem that is easily corrected just by washing the juicer as soon as you've used it. Plus it doesn't take up a huge space on my counter like some of the others would. I am very happy with it. The only negative thing I could say is the cup that catches the juice could be larger. Some of the recipes that make 2 servings will overflow the cup if you're not watching it close enough. Again, a problem easily addressed by paying attention to what I am doing!
