I used to have the Magic Bullet and it finally had issues with the blade piece. I was generally frustrated with it leaking though, so I read the reviews on the NutriBullet and thought it would be a good step up. I make protein smoothies to take to work and usually don't put a ton of liquid in them (until now), which the Nutribullet doesn't like. If there is enough liquid in the container, it works great, although I still have the same leaking as I did with the Magic Bullet. If you're trying to make a thicker smoothie though with ice, and you need a blade that will agitate the ingredients until they start blending, this doesn't work as well.

This little machine is powerful enough to mix and blend anything I put into it. I will put it up against any other at a comparable price, and even against most at higher prices. It's all the average person will ever need.
Rated 3 out of 5Â by BCmom5 The motor went out ONE DAY after warranty ended. "we can not do anything mam, it is out of warranty" For the money you pay it should last a heck of a lot long than just a day over warranty. I only used to blend protein shakes every other day. Very disappointing as when it did work, it was fabulous!

I have had my Nutribullet for nearly a year, and it is still working great! I thought having the smallest watt might be disappointing, but I am amazed at how well it blends and grinds all kinds of foods including hard nuts and seeds. It "extracts" the nutrients so I can drink all of my smoothies with no chunks. it I did a lot of research before purchasing, and I watched online videos. I also read many other reviews on this site and others that talked about leaking. Mine only leaks when I fill it past the top line, which is my own fault! Otherwise, I have had no issues. I love how easy it is to use, clean, grab the cup and go. I use mine 2-3 times a day.
