by TABLESCAPE I wish the soup bowls and salad plates were bigger
I love the style and the color. I have had them for less than a week only and have not used them so I cannot say much about their durability but depend on other reviews. I have four settings of Tuscan dinnerware and serving ware and I want to expand them. It is only Fiesta that can match their style and aesthetic quality appearance. I got a Fiesta tangerine big serving bowl elsewhere and so I ordered two tangerine big platters from Kohl's as I found two small vegetable bowls (predominant color of mustard with some patterns of lemongrass green and tangerine) plus a 17 inches Risotto platter elsewhere. Having said that, I ordered lemongrass dinnerware for six settings. I am very happy to incorporate all my dinnerware and serving ware in three different colors for Thanksgiving. I only regret that the soup bowls and salad plates are so small, so I will just use them for ice cream bowls and dessert plates as after all, I have enough of them in my mustard Tuscan collection.

Being able to purchase the Fiesta ware 4 piece set was exciting for me. I grew up with this brand of dishes. They have beautiful colors and the durability. I was quite disappointed when one of the sets had a broken dinner plate. I called customer service and was told that they would send me out a new box. No hassle! I have since shared my experience with Kohls and also their great price on these dishes. I have purchase another box since then and my kitchen is looking bright and colorful. Now to paint the cabinets and add glass doors so that I can share them with family and friends Thank you Kohls!!

I grew up on the the original (now "antique") stuff... Thought of it as just the parent's dinnerware... no big deal right... Today I have a pretty good bit of the antique stuff, and now use the complementary colors as our everyday dinnerware. This review won't convince you to buy Fiestaware...yes, it is good, goes with everything, durable, and probably one of the few sets of dishes you can buy that will eventually be worth more than what you pay for them. Introduced in 1936, and except for a short discontinuation from '72 to '86, Fiestaware has remained popular. My children are looking forward to their inheritance. There will be no money for them.

Fiesta is an excellent product. The colors are vibrant and they are much more break resistant than stoneware. The problem at this point is that most of the sets that I buy at Kohl's have a significant flaw on one of the pieces of the set. I used to buy Pfaltzgraf at an outlet and often bought seconds. These are more like those, with bubbles, scratches, blips, smears, etc. I was buying these for a gift most recently and had to return and buy doubles in order to put together one set that was first quality, then return the others. That is too much trouble. Either Fiesta is making lower quality or Kohl's is intentionally taking seconds to get the price lower.
