Rated 5 out of 5Â by Tracey111 I love my Fiesta dinnerware!
I have 2 sets of 6 colors now and I love to look in my cabinets, dishwasher and table and see all of it! I've had the same dishes for 25 years and have been searching for the right replacements for about 3 years. I love these and will be using them from now on probably. They are heavy and thick, but I don't care. They are beautiful! You will not be disappointed!

So far 2 of 5 sets have arrived scratched. Worried they won't stand up over time if they are arriving with scratches on them. Local store doesn't carry the same color so I don't think I can easily change these out.

The saucer for this place setting has a huge chuck of some foreign material under the glaze. It is very obvious and disfiguring.

I hope that people who have complained about silverware marks on Fiesta will see this post, and their comments will not deter others from choosing Fiesta.
Metal marks happen because the Fiesta glaze is a harder surface than silverware. Bar Keepers Friend is a liquid cleaner (available at grocery stores) that will easily remove metal marks.
The dishes are dusty from being sanded on the bottom as the last step in making them. Manufacturing is a dusty process!
Some Fiesta pieces have an ink stamp applied before firing which includes a code with the date it was made. Other pieces have the Fiesta logo molded into the bottom. The method used depends on how the piece is made: whether pressed, spun out, or cast in a mold.
Fiesta is celebrating its 80th anniversary this year, with generations of American employees crafting their colorful ware!
