Rated 5 out of 5 by from A true classic I have both vintage fiestaware (small collection) and several sets of some of my favorite colors.I used to entertain a lot and cycled through sets of dishes for color schemes etc and I would donate the sets every year or so.That's costly over time so instead I am adding Fiestaware sets so I can easily mix colors (perfect for the outdoor weather here in San Diego, where it's sunny most of the year and dining outdoors is our way of life).I'm ordering a few of the mixed sets avail!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Silverware Marks Are Easy to Remove from Fiesta I hope that people who have complained about silverware marks on Fiesta will see this post, and their comments will not deter others from choosing Fiesta. Metal marks happen because the Fiesta glaze is a harder surface than silverware. Bar Keepers Friend is a liquid cleaner (available at grocery stores) that will easily remove metal marks. The dishes are dusty from being sanded on the bottom as the last step in making them. Manufacturing is a dusty process! Some Fiesta pieces have an ink stamp applied before firing which includes a code with the date it was made. Other pieces have the Fiesta logo molded into the bottom. The method used depends on how the piece is made: whether pressed, spun out, or cast in a mold. Fiesta is celebrating its 80th anniversary this year, with generations of American employees crafting their colorful ware!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Colors are beautiful and mix with my other pottery I love to collect dishes and pottery from my travels. These fiesta dishes are fibrant and beautiful, especially when mixed. I can mix and match. Love the sizes of the coffee cups because when we entertain with desserts - one pot of coffee makes 8 cups! The store had all the colors I wanted except one - so we ordered the last one at the kiosk in the store and I had it 2 days. Thinking about adding the little cups without the handles for the dips when we fondue! Great addition - glad I waited for the $$deal$$.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Saucer has huge flaw The saucer for this place setting has a huge chuck of some foreign material under the glaze. It is very obvious and disfiguring.
