Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lots of pieces - looks great! The product was delivered to my son for assembly to use in the new baby's room. He noted there lots of pieces. However, after assembly the dresser looks so great!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great dresser but difficult to assemble. This dresser should not be listed as "some" assembly required. It's a total assembly job. The directions are horrible. The pictures of the parts are very confusing as the actual parts are not labeled and the pictures of the parts are not accurate. Finally figured out that the pictures of the parts showed the pre drilled holes on each side of each piece as if they were all on the same side. This made it difficult to figure out which part was which. The other problem was the last step drawer assembly did not include pictures or directions of attaching the drawer gliding tracts on each side of the drawers. For the non handyman the assembly was a 5 hour job. The finished product was great however.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The look and quality of the furniture is great. However, putting it together was a little frustrating. First, the peice was separated into two boxes, since I ordered it online it was not known to me or my husband that it would arrive like that. Second, only three peices were actually labled. Third, all the harware was jumbled together in a couple of bags. My husband spent 20 minutes just sorting through all the screws and bolts.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from DaVinci Combo Dresser Overall we are happy with this product. I will agree with other reviews that it's not the easiest to assemble. I wasn't worried about it after reading the reviews because many said the same thing about the matching crib, which didn't end up being difficult at all. However, this dresser was different. The biggest problem was that many of the parts were not labeled with the stickers like they normally would be. Only some parts were labeled. The other problem was the pictures given in the "instructions". Some of the pictures actually had the pieces backwards and incorrect which made us question what we were doing. In the end though, we figured it out and it's fine. The quality is what I expected - you don't get true good quality furniture these days unless you spend thousands. The wood is pine which is a soft wood that I will say can easily be nicked. Ours actually came with a couple of minor scratches and nicks in it, but not bad enough to bother sending back. The drawers are the typical presswood that you see these days. It might not be top notch quality, but it gets the job done. I really like the look of it. We have the matching crib that is in the set. Both are in chestnut and the color of the crib and dresser match exactly. I picked this dresser because I really want something that could be used as both a changer and dresser, but I didn't want it to have to look like a changer forever. This works great because all you have to do is put a changing mattress on top. You don't have to permanently attach anything so when the child gets older it will serve as a normal dresser. I would recommend this product.
