Purchased at Kohls end of January and have used 5-6 times. Today I put in a $15 roast and started a timed program. At the four hour mark I noticed I was not smelling the cooking meat. It had cooked for little while but quit sometime before the four hour mark and crock was cold. Panel still working, no heat. Throwing out roast as I don't know how long it sat without cooking. Thank goodness I hadn't got rid of my trusty old Rival Crock Pot. Will be retuning as soon as possible.

I've used this crock pot for 4 years and love it. Recently, I dropped/broke the insert. After reading many reviews on many brands, I'm heading out to get this one again - one for me and one for my son's first apartment.
Why? The meat probe allows for cooking to a desired temp, then drops to warm to avoid over cooking. Sealed top making it easy to carry and keeps the heat in. Options for manual or programmable settings, the size, quality, aestheticâ¦very satisfied customer.
PS, yes, I could have purchased a new insert, however, I broke the meat probe a while back and miss it too much - time to refresh; the mechanics worked well beyond the 1 year warranty; just a clumsy user at times!

Great idea, but awful product! I purchased this for my wife for Christmas. When we took it out of the box, the left side of the aluminum holder/panel had a big dent. We took it back and got another one. The product looked fine, but the first time my wife used it the panel went out. We took this one back and exchanged it for another one. When my wife opened this box, she noticed that it had been repackaged and that there was a dent in the bottom of the aluminum holder/panel. Today, after striking out 3 times, I took this one back and got my money back. I would highly recommend that you stay away from this product and spend your money on a much more durable crockpot. Great idea, but bad design!

I have made several dinners in it already. Everything is always done perfectly. It makes the best pulled pork, cornbeef and cabbage, etc. The very only problem is they don't provide a starter recipe booklet specific to this machine, so you must Google all your dishes.
