Rated 5 out of 5 by Great fan I needed the fan to dry out a crawl space due to a broken pipe. This fan delivered like it said it would. Would highly recommend. 04/16/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by We have 5! We now own 5, having bought them over the past 7 years. We first got 2 for a large loft apartment, and gradually added more, and bought additional ones for our studios. Some of them have been running continuously for years. I can't imagine living without them! The yellow color is fine, but I'd be into an all black model, too. 05/25/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great lightweight maximum output Fan I have had Patton fans most of my life but I hated the high pitched hum it generates, so I chose this fan and couldn't be happier. It's super light, has a very safe covering over the blades, soft almost whisper low mode, medium and high are more like white noise...it's no more noisy than my current tower fan on medium and high, the size is medium, easy to put on the wall brackets. I bought this fan to cool the second floor of my house, I have had it running 24/7 since I received it and haven't had to turn on the air conditioner yet. I keep my windows closed all day when it is 90 plus temperatures outside and the maximum inside temps in the low 80's, once the windows are opened to cooler outside temperatures the fan pulls all the hot air out of the second floor within the hour dropping the temperature to low 70's. I love this fan. 06/29/2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good strong performer I been a loyal Vornado fan user for a long time having 4 O.A.Sutton vornado fans this shop fan i have the 283 HD is still kicking after 10 years and use it year round wherever i need it for bedroom air circulating to working on vehicle interior. The 293 bumps it up a notch as the motor is different from the 283. If my 283 were to fail im not sure of sending it for repair as i like that style of motor in it that makes it look like a true Vornado fan like the round motors used in my 4 vintage O.A. Sutton Vornado air circulators i have. But so far so good with both shop fans i got. going to keep them for a very long time. this is also the perfect fan to take with you when you travel on ground going on vacation. 01/31/2015
